About Lorraine
I first started tutoring when one of my own siblings became excluded from school whilst studying for his GCSCE's. I then went on to work in a number of settings where students and participants were experiencing SEN and PMLD. I began private tutoring in 2014 and have worked with a wide variety of students including those who experience themselves as having learning difficulties, those who have experienced multiple exclusions and some home-educated youths taking GCSE's. I'm not everyone cup of tea but my forte seems to be working with students who are difficult to engage or who have formally struggled with the education system

I use a wide variety of methods to engage students with various abilities including music, practical games, attitude, comedy and fun! I do enjoy a little joke around with my students but I'm also direct and to the point in my manner which is not for everyone.
