About Grace

I hold an MFA in Creative Writing, a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature, and a Bachelor’s degree in English with a Creative Writing emphasis in Poetry. I have experience supporting students in both English and Spanish, and I’m passionate about helping others feel more confident in their language skills. As someone who is dyslexic, I understand that learning can feel overwhelming, and I focus on creating a patient, supportive environment where students can succeed.

Through my work in the language access industry, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have a strong foundation in a second language. Language is more than vocabulary—it’s about clarity, confidence, and connection. Building those foundational skills early helps students not only succeed in school, but also feel more comfortable communicating in real-world situations.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and verb conjugations while also helping students feel comfortable actually using Spanish. I incorporate immersion through music, TV shows, and books to make learning more engaging and realistic. Lessons are personalized based on each student’s level and goals, whether that’s homework help, test preparation, or improving reading comprehension.
