About Mia

Hi, my name is Mia! I’m a Year 9 student and English is my favorite subject. I love reading, writing, and helping others improve their skills, and I often assist my classmates with English work at school. I have lots of childcare experience and enjoy supporting younger children, including helping my little sister with her learning. I’m kind, patient, empathetic, and always willing to help others. I’m also organized, supportive, and enjoy being active — I swim, surf, and have played netball for a few years. I’m excited to share my knowledge and help students grow in confidence while making learning enjoyable.

About the lesson

Hi, my name is Mia and I offer friendly and supportive English tutoring for younger students. My lessons are designed to build confidence in reading, writing, spelling, and grammar while making learning fun and engaging. My tutoring is best suited for primary school students (Years 1–6) or anyone wanting extra support with basic English skills. As a Year 9 student, I understand what it’s like to be learning at school right now, so I can relate well to younger learners. I enjoy English, I’m hardworking, and I love helping others succeed.
