About Gio
Hello! My name is Gio, and I'm thrilled to be your swim teacher. Originally born in California, I now call the vibrant state of Victoria my home. With over 20 years of swimming experience under my belt, the water has become my second home.
I hold a swimming and water safety teacher license from Life Saving Victoria, which allows me to share my passion and expertise in a professional capacity. Teaching has always been my calling, especially when it comes to guiding children towards water safety. There's nothing more fulfilling than witnessing their growth and confidence in the water.
My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a nurturing and engaging environment. I believe that learning to swim should be both educational and enjoyable. By fostering a positive and safe space, I aim to instill essential swimming techniques while emphasizing the importance of water safety practices.
