About Erin
Hello!
I'm Erin, and I am a dedicated swim teacher with six years of experience working with students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to those refining their technique and confidence in the water. My teaching is grounded in a genuine passion for helping individuals feel safe, capable, and empowered in aquatic environments.
I take a holistic approach to swim education, recognizing that confidence, communication, and emotional comfort are just as important as physical skill development. By building strong, positive relationships with my students, I aim to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. I believe that learning to swim is not only a vital life skill but also an opportunity to develop resilience, self-belief, and a lifelong connection to movement and well-being.
With a calm and encouraging teaching style, I strive to make lessons enjoyable while maintaining clear structure and purpose. I am committed to ongoing learning and reflective practice, ensuring that my teaching remains informed, adaptable, and centered on the swimmer’s long-term growth and confidence.

Each lesson is thoughtfully designed to support the swimmer as a whole, not just their technique. With six years of experience teaching swimmers of varying ages and abilities, my approach combines skill development, confidence building, and water safety in a supportive and engaging environment. Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing space to respond to each swimmer’s individual needs, learning pace, and emotional comfort in the water.
I place strong emphasis on positive reinforcement, clear communication, and creating a calm, encouraging atmosphere where swimmers feel safe to challenge themselves and celebrate progress.
Lessons are goal-oriented but never rushed, ensuring swimmers develop strong foundations while maintaining enjoyment and motivation. Whether working with complete beginners or refining advanced skills, each session aims to foster independence, resilience, and a lifelong positive relationship with the water.
