About Lucy
I am from England and I moved over here in September chasing the sun. I am passionate about supporting children with special needs and enabling them to live as independent as possible. I strongly believe in giving special needs children access to everything their neurotypical peers have access to. I am a passionate and patient individual who loves to problem solve when problems arise. From my experience as a teacher, I have become confident in figuring out the problems and finding ways to fix them.

Back in the UK I was a special educational teacher with 3 years experience. I have always been passionate about supporting children with additional needs, especially helping them access activities they may not be able to access otherwise. I believe everyone deserves a chance to learn new skills and thrive in life.
Previously I have swam competitively within the UK for years and have always loved being in the water. Through this, I have had experience with a range of medical needs from epilepsy, gastronomy tubes, allergies, asthma, catheters and personal care.
As an adult I love to swim and I hold my advanced scuba diving certificate.
