About Senanthi
Hello, I’m Senanthi, a second-year Civil Engineering student at Swinburne University of Technology with a strong academic background in Mathematics and experience supporting students at university level.
I have achieved High Distinctions in all my university Mathematics units, which reflects both my subject knowledge and my ability to apply mathematical concepts accurately and confidently. In addition, I have experience in tutoring undergraduate students, where I developed effective techniques for explaining complex ideas in a clear and structured way.
My teaching approach focuses on step-by-step explanations, simple problem-solving methods, and personalized guidance based on each student’s learning style. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and gradually build confidence in their abilities.
I work with Primary and Secondary school students, helping them strengthen their understanding of core concepts, complete homework successfully, and prepare for tests and exams with confidence. My goal is not only to improve results, but also to help students become independent and confident learners in Mathematics.
I also offer a free trial lesson so students and parents can feel comfortable before continuing regular sessions.

I take a student-focused and supportive approach to teaching Maths, adapting each lesson based on the student’s learning style and current level. My goal is to help students clearly understand concepts rather than just memorising steps. I use step-by-step explanations, simple problem-solving methods, and guided practice so students can build confidence and improve their results over time.
During lessons, I usually begin by identifying the areas the student finds challenging, then explain the concept in an easy-to-understand way and work through examples together. I also provide practice questions, homework support, and exam preparation strategies to strengthen understanding and accuracy.
A typical lesson runs for two hours, which allows enough time to review concepts, practise questions, and address any difficulties the student may have. I also offer a free trial lesson to understand the student’s needs and learning goals.
I am currently a second-year Civil Engineering major at Swinburne University of Technology, and I have achieved High Distinctions in all university Mathematics units. I also have experience tutoring university undergraduate students, which has strengthened my ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
My lessons are suitable for Primary to Secondary school students who want help with understanding Maths concepts, completing homework, preparing for tests, or improving their confidence and overall performance in the subject.
