I believe that it very important to have a strong bond between the teacher and student and that is by being friendly. I tend to do more activities rather than making the student focus on the book and its content. Doing activities, having open conversations is what I focus on; along with the books and their contents. I don't focus on covering a bulk of information from one day. By the end of the day, my target is to make sure that the student has gained the day's targetted knowledge and at the same time, he/she has enjoyed the tutoring session.
