About Marie
I am a music teacher with over ten years of experience teaching piano, theory, performance and accompaniment to students over all grades. The majority of my students have won awards at competitions and have passed performance exams with flying colours.
In terms of my music experience, I have had the opportunities to work with soloists, bands and orchestras; playing as either an accompanist or a member of an ensemble. Including solo performance training with internationally known pianists and teachers, I've had the opportunity to perform and accompany others. After completing my Lmus Diploma, I spent some time studying at the Sydney Conservatorium.

My teaching method is to meet the student where they are at, gage at their interests and goals, and challenge and encourage to meet those goals, catering my style of teaching to the individual.
Most of my music education have been incorporated with the Suzuki method, the Russian school of piano playing and the AMEB theoretical and technical structures and influences. When I teach, I incorporate all three or some of them, depending again on the abilities of the student and their expectations.
