About Katherine
I am an Aerospace Engineering University Student looking to do some tutoring, I have tutored successfully in the past and I'm looking to take on a few more tutees. I'm happy to do tutoring in small group of up to 3 with a deal or tutor 1 to 1, online in person.
I love helping my tutees succeed and try to tailor my teaching methods to each tutee whether that is looking for a pass or reaching for the highest grades! During my lessons I try to encourage good revision technique and I'm more than happy to answer homework questions or walk through exams done in class or done as homework.
Some of the teaching techniques I use are reviewing the class work and confirm it in long term memory and explain anything the student didn't understand in class. Or reading ahead so that student may gain a better understanding in class and will help classmates which again helps to memorise the content.
Since I am a student I am happy to teach in person term time and online during the holidays
My qualifications are 13 GCSE's and 4 A levels. I have tutored 8 tutees in past with good reviews.
