Perfect! Great teacher that meets my needs and works at my pace
Perfect! Leanna is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and patient. I just started lessons with her as someone who used to play competitively; at the same time, she has elementary school aged students, and students much older than me — a testament to her ability to teach all ages and skill levels. I’ve truly enjoyed working with Leanna, and I look forward to my lessons each week! Highly recommend Leanna for anyone looking to start piano for the first time, or pick it back up after some time away.
Perfect! Leanna is a patient and technical piano teacher. She took the time to explain theory and technique to me in order to improve my playing
Perfect! I’ve had one lesson with Leanna, and I intend to continue. I’m a former musician (percussion) who, after a couple decades away from playing, wanted to get back into music.
I really appreciated Leanna’s focus on the fundamentals (technique and theory). She is a great listener, answering all my questions and concerns, meeting me where I am. I learned a lot in that first lesson and look forward to lesson #2 :)Perfect! Leanna has been an amazing tutor. After 20 years of not playing piano since I had lessons as a kid, she quickly reinvigorated my skillsets when I first came to her to help me finish a Coldplay song I was struggling with. Within 3 weeks, I was able to learn the song, and we’ve since then been having a lot of fun working through new songs together. She is very patient and is quick to give instructive feedback on technique. And she makes sure we work on fundamentals with different key structures at the beginning of every class. Whether a beginner or someone with more experience, she is 10/10 worth working with to develop your piano skills! I look forward to playing in her recital she hosts every 6 months.
Perfect! Very professional! If you need a guaranteed piano teacher to get you to your goals she is the one!
Perfect! Excellent teacher. Very patient with beginners.
Perfect! She was a great teacher and she had cool Aussie accent!

Recently had my first beginner lesson with Leanna. She was great! She was very attentive but not critical to the point where she would make you feel discouraged. Piano seemed very intimidating, and she helped to bridge the gap. Highly recommend!
We are so thankful and grateful we found Leanna! Our four year old came home after his second lesson and immediately started using his new hand posture on the piano. He is very comfortable with her and is excited for his next lesson!
Leanna is a very thoughtful and technical piano teacher. She took the time to explain technical details as well as music theory to help me improve my playing.

I learned a lot in that first lesson and look forward to lesson #2 :)Leanna is great! I was totally new to piano and she has helped me establish a great base knowledge. She was very patient with a beginner like myself. By the time I left our first one hour session I felt much more comfortable and confident with my skills. Looking forward to continuing my lessons and progress with Leanna.
Leanna is wonderful. She created a structured lesson that mixes the fundamentals with real music from the start. It’s great and challenging - I’ve noticed a big speed up in my learning since I started working with her.
Highly recommend!Learning piano with [her name] has been an incredible experience. She combines technical mastery with a deep understanding of how to bring out the best in each student. Her perfect pitch allows her to notice even the smallest nuances in sound and phrasing, and her teaching techniques are wonderfully adaptable — she tailors every lesson to how you personally learn best.
What truly sets her apart is the balance between practical exercises and music theory. Every session feels structured yet creative, helping you grow both as a performer and as a musician who actually understands what’s happening behind the notes.
Above all, she is incredibly attentive — she notices details others might miss and always finds the right words to motivate, correct, and inspire. I’ve made more progress under her guidance than I ever thought possible. Highly recommended to anyone serious about learning piano at any level.Working with Leanna is great. She’s met me where I was at and went at a pace that was comfortable to me. She’s listened to my goals and encourages any questions or thoughts. 10/10 recommend.
