About Elijah
I've been giving lessons to children from ages 5-12 since 2017, and decided to build an online presence. I taught about 5 students once a week each last year, but just moved to New Britain from East Lyme and hope to build a new client basis. I plan to take on a bigger client load and hope to put in more time outside of lessons to make a fun experience for both parties. I only teach at the beginner-intermediate level.

I base my lessons mostly off of the very popular Hal Leonard Guitar Method series, but with my own little spin. I simply assist students in learning the methods in the book, and apply them to simple riffs, chords, and songs that keep them engaged, while learning the methods/skills to take them to the next level. Using the book allows students to practice on their own, get better at reading music, for just about $10 a book. (3 books in the collection)
