My name is Olivier, and I currently study Computer Science (minoring in Mathematics) in UNSW.
I enjoy brain-teasers, historical novels, and chess!

I like to let students work on the more voluminous and time-intensive questions and topics in between lessons, as it lets me efficiently spot their strengths and weaknesses over a wide range of concepts in a short period of time. I would then choose questions for the student to do for them to work on their weaknesses and coach them through particularly difficult parts. I then assign them work related to what we did in the lesson in varying levels depending on their proficiency. I believe this is best over a 1 hour period, and for children in Year 4 and above.
I have privately tutored Mathematics for 8 years, ranging between kindergarten to Year 11 students, so I know what works for each age group!
