About Eliane
I am originally from Germany and I am currently finishing my master's in History at UNBC.
I started tutoring in 2014 during my time in high school and I have worked with children from 5-20 years old. I am also a passionate teacher and I have worked with children with ADHD, autism and other special needs which I really enjoyed.

I start with a focus on my student's needs and wants (What is the main issue? What are you good at? What do you want to learn or practice?)
I normally start with questions about what happened since our last lesson, if there is any topic that needs immediate attention, any homework there are issues with or any major questions
Then, we repeat what we did last time or the times before, after that, we work with the topics we need/want to work with, do some tasks.
In the end we summarize what we have done and talk about last questions until next time. Of course, every student is different and has different needs and wants, I always adapt to the individual situation!
