About Tom
Hello! I am an experienced English tutor with a strong passion for helping students improve their language skills. Over the past two years, I have taught English on a weekly basis through my work at the library. Where I have accumulated significant experience in teaching English to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
I have had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds, enabling me to develop a flexible teaching style that caters to individual needs and learning styles. In order to meet these individual needs, I assess each students, current proficiency with English and ask them their overall objectives. From there, I create customised lessons plans that look to addresses their specific needs and allows maximum opportunity to achieve these goals.
Lessons can include; discussions, role-playing exercises, multimedia resources, and hands-on activities. I believe that active participation enhances language acquisition and boosts confidence.
