A typical lesson ranges from an hour to two hours. Focusing on the curriculum and the specific exam boards. I have tutored using the AQA, OCR and Eduqas exam boards and am confident in mentoring children to be able to achieve great results.
Lessons will look through past papers and understand what the exam boards want and where to earn marks.
As a tutor it is important to understand where my pupils are struggling and how to motivate them.
I have done tutoring ages from 14 to 17 in my three years as a tutor. I have worked independently as well as with Knowledge Hub based in Manchester. And have participated in a programme to help children get into reading from low socio-economic backgrounds.
