About Nur
Assalamualaikum My name is Nur Atiqah Binti Khairi Azizul, and I am a passionate and dedicated tutor in Qur’an and Islamic Studies, with 2 years of teaching experience. I specialize in teaching young learners aged 7 to 9, especially those in Year 2 and Year 3. I currently teach at Sekolah Kebangsaan Yan Kechil Kedah, where I help students build a strong foundation in Tilawah, Akhlaq, and basic Fiqh. I recently completed my foundation studies in Arabic and will soon begin my degree in the same field. I also achieved 8As in SPM, including A grades in Arabic and Tilawah al-Quran, which reflects my strong academic background and commitment to excellence. My teaching approach is fun, interactive, and student-friendly. I use creative methods such as storytelling, visuals, repetition games, and tailored exercises to make learning engaging and effective. I always aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. I want to teach because I truly believe that education is one of the most powerful ways to shape a better future both in this world and the hereafter. As someone who has studied Arabic and Islamic knowledge, I feel a strong sense of responsibility to share what I’ve learned and to help young students understand the beauty of the Qur’an, the Arabic language, and Islamic values. I also want to teach because it helps me continue learning and improving myself. Every class, every student, and every challenge helps me grow as an educator and as a Muslim.

I use a student-centered approach that includes interactive activities such as games, storytelling, memorization strategies, and simple Qur’an recitation exercises. I also incorporate visual aids and group discussions to make learning more engaging, especially for young learners.Each lesson typically lasts around 60 minutes, depending on the students’ attention span and the topic covered. I completed my foundation studies in Arabic and am currently waiting to begin my degree in the same field. I achieved 8As in SPM, including A in Arabic and Tilawah al-Quran. I also have 2 years of teaching experience, mainly with lower primary students, and have been actively involved in student programs, Islamic plays, school clubs, and cultural activities. My lessons are mainly for lower primary students, usually aged 7 to 9 years old. I focus on basic Qur’an reading, Islamic manners (adab), simple Fiqh and Akidah, tailored to their level of understanding.
