About Alex
I'm Alex, and I grew up in Bristol. At first, I didn't enjoy the subject of Maths particularly (like most people), but I grew to like it, as I got better at it, and by year 7, it was one of my favourite subjects in school. I ended up doing very well at school, getting 3 9's and 5 8's at GCSE, and then 2 A*s and 2 As at A level. I have always enjoyed learning and helping others to learn in creative and hopefully enjoyable ways.

My approach to all my students is very much unique to all of them. I believe that the best way to learn is to do, and to be guided while challenging tricky questions, which are likely to test your understanding of a given topic area is the best way to learn and to equip you for upcoming exams. Lessons typically last 45 mins to an hour. I have worked as a tutor for three months, and am very much enjoying meeting and teaching a vast range of students with a vast range of abilities. My lessons can be directed toward any secondary school pupil from ages to 11-18.
