Teacher of Biology at High School Level for six years in Ireland.

Methodology

Lessons I provide will be geared towards students who not only want to do well in exams but also enjoy the subject material. Lessons will be discussion based and participation from both tutor and student will be required. The idea being to provide a less formal approach to study in a fashion that can make it enjoyable.

Background

I have been a full time teacher in Ireland for six years at high school level. I have taught Biology, Chemistry, Science and Mathematics for all six years. Classes are between 24-30 students. I have also been a private tutor most of these years giving one on one tutoring as well as groups up to three students. Every student I have tutored has met their expectations.

I have worked with Robert for six years and he is a wonderful teacher, he has a student centered philosophy making him extremely empathetic as a teacher. Robert's concise and well prepared lessons and his enlightened, compassionate approach to education has meant that he was valued highly by both students and colleagues. I could not recommend Robert highly enough as a teacher and mentor, he has always been the epitome of professionalism.

I've known Rob as a teacher for years. He has a fantastic rapport with his students and a clear and comprehensive teaching style. Rob has a great understanding across all scientific disciplines but is particularly adept in biology and chemistry. His deep interest in these two fields comes across in his teaching and he has been very successful in passing in his enthusiasm on to his students.

Robert is a confident and reliable teacher. When I was struggling with my studies Roberts tutoring sessions helped me get to my exams and do very well! Along with his knowledge, his calm nature and patience is enough to help any student feel more relaxed and confident. I am very grateful for his help

Upon meeting Rob his subject knowledge in science, biology and math is immediately apparent but what really marks him out as an exceptional teacher is his fastidious preparation. Rob is conscientious about his work, he is caring towards his students and passionate about their learning. His calm demeanour is ideally suited to putting students at their ease.
Rob would be an addition to any teaching faculty.

Robert is a fine teacher who has a great love of his subject and cares about all his students regardless of their ability. Any students who has him as a teacher should count themselves very lucky. I have worked with Robert for 6 years and he had the total respect of all his students and his fellow teaching colleagues. Robert is someone I would highly recommend.
