About Tim
I am a teacher from the UK. I came to Cairns with my partner who works at the hospital. I am keen to continue to educate young people whilst I am here and I hope that my credentials in education and passion for teaching will make me the right fit to help improve your maths!

I focus on making subjects interesting and relatable for students. It is very naive to expect young people to understand topics if they have not been taught the relevance of it to their daily lives. Once a background interest has been established, a commitment helping them grasp the core of the topic through conversation and discussion is, in my opinion, a highly successful recipe for learning.
