About Iuri
For each student I seek to create a teaching program that allows us to reach the most immediate goals of the student, working songs and knowledge that will facilitate their execution. In this process I try to define a course of study for the student that is validated or changed each class, according to the form that each student performs what is requested. I seek to direct the evolution of the student so that he discovers what pleases him more in the instrument and so that his practice is pleasant and light, avoiding to follow formulas clichés of learning.

In 1996 I started playing guitar on my own using a guitar my father did not use anymore. Spend some years learning methods and books until I have my first class with a real teacher. I did three and a half years of erudite acoustic guitar, one of which was in the Conservatory of Tatuí. As my passion was always the guitar, I decided to do the technical guitar course at the Rogério Koury Conservatory, where I graduated in 2013 and taught for a year in both practical and theoretical subjects, solfege, harmony I and II, musical theory, perception, among others. I have always participated in bands and since 2012 I am a member and co-founder of the band Bit Beat Bite Bright that has two EPs released and 4 music videos. With the band I had the opportunity to play in various festivals and show houses inside and outside the state of São Paulo. My relationship with music causes me to direct my classes to understand each student and work the necessary knowledge so that he can quickly achieve a certain fluency in the instrument to the point of being able to perceive what pleases him in the instrument, which brings him pleasure in play the guitar and how he imagines to build his evolution in the instrument. I believe there is no one way. The guitar is present in a multitude of genres and presents also practically infinite possibilities, so it is interesting to try to see what interests us within all this possible diversity of knowledge.
