About Derek
Hello!
My name is Derek and I am here to help you achieve your goals. I have a degree in the specialty of saxophone at the Conservatorio Superior de Castilla y León (COSCYL) and post-graduate from the same center.
Apart from my classical-contemporary degree, I have learned the language of jazz from a very young age in groups such as big bands, combos and jazz seminars with great musicians of international level.
Parallel to my academic studies, I have always been very eager to learn and that has led me to play in different ska, reggae, rap or swing groups.
Finally, I have many years of experience as a musician and teacher and I will be happy to help you with whatever you need. COME UP AND ASK WITHOUT COMMITMENT!

I conceive the teaching of music from the corporal conscience and on this I base my classes. I have learned over the years that the first instrument that we have to learn to control is our own body in order to later control our instrument.
