About Susie
Hey, I'm Susie. I'm a singer and singing teacher originally from Melbourne, now living in Brisbane.
I studied Music (Popular Voice) at Monash University and while still in Melbourne, I gigged all over the city in a pop covers duo and in a couple of jazz bands. I also have experience teaching students at a number of different schools and privately for 3 years.
I'm a patient, friendly teacher and strive to create an environment where my students can feel comfortable making mistakes and trying new things. I love working with beginners in particular but enjoy working with more advanced students too.

Susie has a holistic approach to singing, with a focus on fundamental technique as well as the mental and physical aspects that can affect voice production.
With a degree in popular voice at Monash University, as well as further study in vocal anatomy and a strong performance background, Susie has 3 years' experience teaching beginners as well as more advanced students, both children and adults.
In your lessons, Susie will help you explore your range, provide you with relevant warm-ups and vocal exercises, and guide you in your vocal development with a strong focus on YOU. You will learn how to read music, fine-tune your ear and how to practice, all in a gentle and non-judgemental environment.
You will also have the opportunity to choose and work on songs with Susie's guidance in developing your range of vocal expression and in overcoming vocal challenges.
