About Kayla
"Graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura from Argentina provided a formal base. Formal theory often feels disconnected from the pulse of the street. My teaching remains rooted in traditions I grew up with like bolero, flamenco, and chacarera. These styles demand both technical precision and deep emotional resonance.
Working professionals often find the transition from tabs to reading sheet music difficult. My background helps me guide them through scales, modes, and complex chord transitions. Absolute beginners usually benefit from my methodical approach to power chords and ear training.
Teaching is a cultural-musical package that I share with every student. I am ready to help you improve your craft."
