About Olivia
Tuning and maintenance, improvisation, soloing, songwriting, reading sheet music, scales, modes, ear training, acoustic technique, reading tabs, and lead guitar are all part of my toolkit. I have taught 244 students so far.
That is a lot of strings changed. My 13 years of experience help me guide players through the nuance of the fretboard. I frame everything through the lens of a songwriter, meaning we make music right away. It is always a pleasure to see a student find their flow.

Many players get stuck in a rut because they only focus on technical drills without musical context, which is why I emphasize songwriting from the start. We work on your songs or classics while blending guitar technique with vocal work to ensure you are gig-ready. My 13 years of experience allow me to simplify complex concepts into manageable steps, drawing on my VCA background to teach you the theory behind the music.
Since I provide a neurodivergent-affirming space, we move at a pace that keeps you motivated and comfortable. I am always here to support your creative journey with a calm, gig-tested perspective.
