About Rob
My name is Robert Berube and I am 31 years old, I have been playing the guitar since I was 13 years old. I first started teaching my classmates in highschool as well as writing my own songs. I then taught my sister how to play the guitar. She is in high school herself now and not only plays that but 4 other instruments as well. I then went on to teach private lessons in my community for beginners to which many of them still play today. Currently I teach my 11 year old son how to play and he is already starting to be able to learn songs with light guidance. When I am not teaching I volunteer to be a stage hand at community fundraisers to set up their guitars, mics, amps, ect. for groups to perform. I can also help with guitar repairs which I have been doing for a few years. I absolutely love guitars so if you are unsure of where to start or you feel like you are ready to move on to another one I can give recommendations based on your skill level. During the day I work at a car dealership so my lessons would have to be after 5pm or on the weekends.

As said before I have had 18 years of experience playing the guitar. Many students excelled under my teaching. Very easy and understandable teaching style for beginners of any age. Depending on how many lessons we have and your skill level I will determine how difficult the coursework will be. The more work you put into it the more successful you will be. Practice makes perfect! In order for us to have lessons you must have your own electric or acoustic guitar whichever you want to learn on. For online meets I prefer to do google hangout. If I am driving to you I will bring my own guitar. All I ask for when doing an in person lesson is just a quiet space where we can work.
