My teaching methodology is to explain lessons with practical examples using my industry and academic experience. I am looking for students who struggle with maths and science subjects, and are having trouble grasping basic concepts of such subjects. Clear understanding of the basics of any subjects is most important, as more complex concepts are build up from the basic concepts. Therefore, once the simpler concepts of any subject are clear, it gets relatively easier to understand more complex topics.
I completed my bachelors from Queen Mary University of London, and was awarded top student awards during second and third year. I am currently a Masters student at Monash University conducting research on geothermal energy. Have previously completed a few engineering management courses at The University of Melbourne. Also hold a certificate IV in teaching and training from Box Hill Institute of TAFE. I have always excelled in studies and have been especially good at Mathematics.
I have worked at Box Hill Institute as an Engineering Technologist for 2 years. I was in tech school department, where I developed and delivered high tech STEM educational content (3D printing, Virtual Reality, Arduino programming, Sustainable Housing, Rooftop Farming) to high school students in a very simple manner. I am currently a tutor at Monash University, where I teach semester 1 subjects including Foundation Mathematics and Project Management since Feb'19. Furthermore, I have prior experience of teaching Mathematics to A-level students.
