About Gizelle
I studied at the California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. Shortly after, I realized that teaching was my passion and started working at my nearby public high school as an Instructional Assistant. My main role was to assist students in learning English as all of them spoke Spanish as their native language. Currently, I am working on getting my teaching credential and my master's in education through Santa Clara University. At the same time, I am also getting my Bilingual Authorization to teach in both languages!

I have been in the educational system for almost three years now. I spoke Spanish at my old high school 80% of my day as I was helping students who only spoke Spanish conquer their English learning goals. Currently, I am working at a private high school teaching students in a Spanish I level class!
