About Claire

I am a calm and patient teacher.
I have attention to detail. I adapt my lessons to the ability and current level of understanding of my students.
I hold a vast and varied vocabulary which I am keen to teach to future pupils. I want to help my pupils to master the language they wish to learn so they can communicate with others in their chosen language with ease and joy.

About the lesson

I will either use a textbook appropriate to the age of the student or adapt to the relevant syllabus for GCSE exams.
For most students I will be speaking primarily in the language being taught.
The length of time of a lesson: 60 minutes. More than one lesson can be booked on the same day.

Comme indiqué précédemment, je parle parfaitement le Français et l'Anglais et donne des cours de Français pour les enfants en primaire et secondaire.

Days & hours of work:

Monday - Friday
2pm-6pm

The last lesson of the day ends at 7pm.

Claire looked after our 3-yo daughter for 3 months (3 times a week for 5 hours) and helped her practice her French, speaking and interacting with her exclusively in French.

Our daughter really enjoyed spending time with Claire, both at home and on various outings.

Claire is very patient, considerate and kind, and had we not moved outside of London, we would have kept on calling on her services.

Claire worked as a nanny for our daughter who was 2 years old for a few months back in 2020. She was kind and caring and our daughter enjoyed spending time with her. We are a bilingual family so it was wonderful that she was able to communicate with our daughter in French also.

Claire is an extremely diligent and intuitive tutor. She has been working with our daughter for the past year and the improvement in her french language has been remarkable - not only in her understanding of french but also her confidence in speaking it. She has a kind and generous manner and immediately understood how to connect with our daughter to get the best out of her. I would highly recommend her
