About Callum
I am studying Mathematical Sciences at Durham University, attaining an average of 93% in my first year. Also, I have achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-Levels. I am most familiar with Edexcel Exam boards but I can adapt to others. I have a real passion for this subject and am happy to share that passion.
I have also worked in schools as part of my Spaceflight Society’s Outreach program.
Maths is one of the most important subjects on the planet. I love it. It is a crucial subject to improve problem solving skills and logical thinking. This is why I teach GCSE Maths content to students of all abilities. I treat students as equal - we listen to each other’s ideas, creating a relaxed and productive environment. We will go through and learn the content and work through examples together until the student can independently solve and tackle difficult problems. It will be a dynamic working environment whereby we are working together where I can tailor each session to the student’s needs and the pace they are comfortable with. I understand Maths does not come naturally to some people and everyone learns in different ways but I am here to help my students reach their full potential and enjoy this beautiful subject.

Teaching Mathematics to GCSE and A-Level Students of any ability, helping them to gain confidence in solving problems to get them through their exams. We will learn the theory and go through examples together, in hour-long sessions, until the student can independently solve problems to achieve full marks.
