I have been a digital literacy tutor while studying at University where I taught refugees digital skills. During my time at this job I was able to get people who have never used a computer to start using it to do practical things to improve their lives, like sending emails and applying for jobs. I was able to refine my teaching skills by learning how to tailor lessons towards a particular student. My teaching method is having the students do excercises and making sure they retain the knowledge learned by constantly testing their previous knowledge at the end of lessons.
