About Niamh
I'm from Liverpool, started my degree in Newcastle University at 18 years old. I have just completed a Civil Engineering placement at a nuclear power station in Somerset and have just returned to Newcastle to complete my degree over the next two years.
I am a friendly, positive, caring and very patient university student.
Math qualifications: A* GCSE Maths, A GCSE Further Maths, B A-Level Maths, 2 years maths experience in university
My favourite school subject has always been Mathematics and I love helping others improve their maths skills.

- I would learn what areas of maths the student would like to or needs to improve in in order to do well in their exams.
- Go through textbook questions, engage with the student while they answer the question, and write out step-by-step answers that can be applied to other questions for further learning.
- Have never worked as a professional tutor, however throughout GCSEs and A-Levels, took out time each week to tutor two friends in the subject.
- I can teach students from a young age, to the age of 18 completing A-Levels.
- I would need to know the syllabus they are following in school to know what sub-topics the individual requires teaching for

Niamh’s such a lovely girl. She’s helped me with maths on my course and was very thorough walking through the steps with me. She is very patient an can explain things in multiple ways if you don’t understand it the first time round. Would definitely recommend with anyone struggling with maths!
