About Brooke
My name is Brooke and I am currently a bass major at JMC Academy, studying a Bachelor of Music. I am due to finish this degree in September 2025. I learned multiple instruments, and therefore basic music theory, in both primary and high school, and have been able to develop my skills throughout my degree. Because of my background in music, I have found the theory classes pretty easy. However, a lot of my peers never learned any theory before starting their degree, and most struggled to pass these classes. I am aware that I am privileged to have learned theory as young as I did, and I would like to help others to be able to understand it and how to use it.

My lessons go for 45 minutes, and are for high schoolers and adults who have not studied music theory before, or who have had a break from it and would like to relearn. My techniques are mostly visual, with the use of a piano (or a picture of one) to demonstrate what is being taught.
