About Sowmya

I am a B.Tech graduate in Computer Science Engineering with a strong interest in helping children learn with clarity and confidence. I have enjoyed teaching and supporting students through informal tutoring and volunteering in an NGO-led educational program at a government school. I am patient, approachable, and comfortable explaining ideas in different ways until a student understands them. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to understand concepts rather than simply memorize them. I enjoy creating a positive learning environment where students can gradually become more confident and independent in their studies.

About the lesson

I teach Mathematics to students in Classes 4–6 through online one-to-one classes. My focus is on helping students understand concepts clearly instead of simply memorizing formulas or answers. I explain topics in simple language and use real-life examples, small stories, imagination, and practice questions to make learning easier and more interesting. Classes can include concept explanation, guided problem-solving, homework support, and practice based on the student's needs. I encourage students to ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. My aim is to build strong mathematical foundations, confidence, and independent problem-solving skills.
