About POOJITHA
Hi! I’m a Computer Science B.Tech graduate with a 9.2 CGPA, and I have always enjoyed learning and sharing what I know with others. Teaching has been one of my favorite things to do, and I have gained practical tutoring experience over the past 2–3 summers, teaching school students regularly. I’m a friendly, patient and approachable person who enjoys working with children and understanding their individual learning needs.
I believe every student can learn well when they are given the right explanation, encouragement and attention. I especially enjoy helping students who feel that Math or Science is difficult and making those subjects feel simpler and more interesting. While I am currently looking for a job, I would love to use my time productively by doing something I genuinely enjoy — teaching and helping students grow in their knowledge and confidence.

I am a B.Tech graduate in Computer Science with a 9.2 CGPA and was among the top 4 students in my institute. I have always enjoyed teaching, and I have around 2–3 summers of tutoring experience. I initially started teaching one student through a nearby tuition center, and eventually had around 5 students consistently.
I mainly teach Math, Science and English for students from 2nd to 9th grade. My approach is simple: I first understand the student’s level and syllabus, prepare a suitable schedule, and focus on building concepts rather than encouraging rote memorization. I explain topics in simple language using visual and practical examples, provide handwritten notes when required, and give students enough time to solve problems independently.
A typical class includes revision and doubt-clearing, teaching the new concept, independent practice, and checking the student’s work with suitable homework. I also conduct tests regularly and give extra attention to weaker areas, especially during exam time. I am patient, friendly and approachable, but I can also be strict when needed to keep the student focused and disciplined.
I want my students to feel comfortable asking doubts without hesitation while also becoming more confident and independent in their studies. I am particularly happy to work with students who find Math or Science difficult and need concepts explained from the basics.
I am comfortable with online classes using a laptop, screen sharing and a whiteboard, and I can provide notes as needed. If the location is nearby, I am also open to home tuition or students coming to my place.
I genuinely enjoy teaching and would love to help students improve their knowledge, confidence and academic performance.
