About Jo
I am a professional Singing tutor with 15 years of teaching experience, having taught 150–200 students of varying ages and skill levels. My approach focuses on personalised learning, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals, abilities, and pace. I aim to create a supportive, inspiring environment where students feel confident to explore their voice and develop their musical potential.
Students focus on breath control, pitch, tone, rhythm, and performance techniques while also exploring creativity, musical interpretation, and self-expression. I combine technical exercises with interactive and fun activities to make learning motivating, enjoyable, and effective.
I am known for my empathetic, patient, and motivating teaching style. I create a safe environment where students feel empowered to experiment, improve, and celebrate progress. My mission is to help students achieve their goals, develop their unique voice, and enjoy a lifelong journey in music.

Communication is clear and motivating. I explain vocal techniques such as breath support, pitch accuracy, tone shaping, and warm-ups in simple language. I maintain open communication throughout the course.
Collaboration is a key part of my lessons. I work closely with students to set goals, choose songs, and plan practice routines. Along with Singing, I also teach related subjects like rhythm basics, ear training, music theory fundamentals, and stage confidence.
