We begin with a five-to-ten-minute warm-up to review previous concepts and activate prior knowledge. Next, I spend ten to fifteen minutes introducing the new topic, modeling the concept with clear, accessible examples. The core of the session is dedicated to fifteen to twenty minutes of guided practice, where the student and I work through problems together, allowing me to catch and correct misunderstandings in real time. We then conclude with ten minutes of independent application, giving the student the space to test their new skills and finish the lesson with a tangible sense of achievement.
