In my lessons, I use the TPR method (Total Physical Response) in order to make sure that the student has a proper understanding of the English words that are being taught. I also use the Audio-lingual method, which focuses largely on repetition of core structures and sentences. I also use the natural approach, which attempts to mirror the process of learning a first language; there is a focus on communication rather than explicit grammar teaching.
