About Aleeya

I am an ESL/TEFL (teaching English as a Foreign Language) student with a Bachelor of Media degree from the University of Adelaide. I plan to make teaching English my full time job, so I have every intention of tutoring my students to improve in all aspects of the English langauge.

I have experience editing essays and novels, and I am very passionate about English writing. If you are looking for a friendly teacher I would love to help!

About the lesson

My name is Aleeya, I was born in New Zealand and I have graduated University with a Bachelor of Media degree. I am happy to help anyone, from beginners to advanced students. I like to have fun with my students, so our lessons will be filled with interactive activities! My passion is writing so I would love to help you improve your written skills, and I am also trained in teaching speaking, grammar, vocabulary and listening skills.

I mainly do online teaching and my lessons are usually around an hour long. I have taken a TEFL course and am currently in the final stages of becoming a certified English as a Second Language teacher. Before I start teaching you, I will ask you to complete a 'needs analysis' where I will assess what areas you can improve on (speaking, writing, etc.) and I would love to know what areas you want to improve on personally! For lessons, we will focus on a variety of areas so I can help you to improve in as many aspects of English as possible. I believe that learning is about the student, so you will be doing a lot of student-centred activities and I will help as needed!

Teaching is my passion, and I want to help people improve their English skills because it's such a widely-used language and it will help you a lot in your life. I promise I'm friendly and I would absolutely love to tutor anyone who needs it!
