About Ekow

**About Me**

Hi! I'm a friendly TEFL-qualified ESL teacher based in Melbourne with nearly 8 years in higher education and international language schools, including teaching in Japan. While I've taught ESL classes, I've also thrived in hands-on student support—managing records, running busy orientations and intake days, handling emails and face-to-face queries, and guiding students through paperwork stress and cultural adjustments.

I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping people achieve their goals and using English as the tool to make it happen. At my busiest, I'd assess English levels, track progress carefully, and reassure students when things felt overwhelming.

What I enjoy most is helping students feel confident and supported, whether that's clear feedback on their writing or explaining processes step-by-step. I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely excited about your goals. Let's make English feel straightforward and fun!
