Miss Dena is a certified American Sign Language instructor with all clearances, teaching beginner ASL classes to thousands of children in the classroom and online for over 13 years. Miss Dena strives to create sessions that are well-planned, tons of fun and include puppetry, props, books, songs and more for preschoolers and school-age children to enjoy while effortlessly learning and retaining a beautiful and useful language! She meets children exactly where they are and allows them to participate at their ability level, her philosophy is "Inspire, Not Require". Open to all ages and abilities, these are beginner level classes. Making ASL a truly joyful experience encourages children to join in the fun!
