About Léa

Hi, I’m Léa!

I have been teaching French in London for ten years.

With a BA in Philosophy and a Master’s in Political Science, I bring an analytical approach to our discussions, helping students build confidence and precision in their use of the language.

The French Book Club was born from the conviction that literature is a living space for thought and exchange—a structured way to explore a new language.

About the lesson

Welcome to The French Book Club! This is a space for reading and conversation.

I have been using French literature as a way for students of French as a Foreign Language to discover that reading together creates a deeper, more personal relationship with French language and culture.

Programme available for September-October:

* L'Amant, Marguerite Duras (from B1)

* Le Petit Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (from B1)

* La Symphonie pastorale, André Gide (from B1)

* Sous le Soleil de Satan de Georges Bernanos (B2 level)
