About Sacha
A degree-level Physicist, I first started tutoring in 2013, and have had dozens of students over the years. I worked as a higher-level teaching assistant in Loreto High School in Chorlton, and did stints of cover supervision in a range of high schools across Wigan and Leigh. More recently, I ran the in-house training for a firm of accountants- over the years, I have had students aged 7 to 70!

I love to relate scientific concepts to the world around us- it's great to be able to put our knowledge into context, but it also acts as a little "hook" to hang our memory on. The more links we can make to a given topic, the more likely we are to be able to remember it when it really matters.
From making bath bombs to watching videos, playing video games and modelling the universe with a slinky- I like to engage every aspect of an individual's personality when I teach.

Cancellations must be made by text, voice call or email at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time of the lesson, so that I do not incur travel costs. If I have to reschedule and do not give 24 hours' notice, I will offer a 10% discount on the next lesson.
