About Brooklyn
During our first session, we immediately focus on speaking rather than just memorizing long lists of dry vocabulary. My 13 years of professional experience help me guide teens and exam candidates through the nuances of Latin American versus Castilian variants. Do you ever wonder why textbooks sound nothing like the people you meet on the street in Mexico City? I grew up speaking Spanish and have spent 13 years singing and playing music in that vibrant tradition here in Australia.
Having taught many students over 13 years, I realize that language lives in the rhythm of the culture. My Diploma of Music from JMC Academy informs how I teach the cadence and pronunciation of various dialects. I help learners connect the dots between grammar rules and real world interactions.
