About Connor
In the past, I have tutored students up to GCSE level. I have also hosted A level revision sessions. I helped to tutor over 50 students through GCSE's whilst studying for my A levels.
I have recently completed a placement at a school where I was teaching year 8's.
I currently hold a Teach First graduate programme offer which means I will train to be a teacher after University.

I believe students need to be enjoying studying to be productive. I try to connect with students on a personal level by appearing more like a friend than an authority figure. Students will still understand the need to learn but my lessons/revision sessions will be much more informal than a lesson at school. Student engagement is very important so I will let the student be mostly in control of their topics of revision and act as a support figure to help or guide students where necessary.
