About Sowmiya
I'm a current veterinary medicine student with a keen interest in math and sciences. With a background in biomedical sciences, I have been a private tutor throughout my undergraduate degree and I have tutored students of all ages in subjects such as biology, chemistry, maths and english.

Hi there!
As a passionate student myself, I always ensure lessons are enjoyable as I believe developing an interest towards the subject is the first step to understanding it and subsequently excelling in it.
I typically teach for about 1-2 hours, devoting equal time to teaching and practicing/testing the content covered. I also prefer to plan out my lessons in advance to ensure a smooth and organized flow.
I teach biology, chemistry, english & maths across all age groups.

Perfect! I can highly recommend Sowmiya. She is an excellent tutor for my 2 kids ages 7 and 10. They are very lucky to have such a knowledgeable teacher. She explains things very clearly and has a lot of experience tutoring both young kids and teens. My kids feel like the lessons go very quickly because she is so nice to them and they are happy to be corrected by her as she is so gentle and thorough. Her knowledge is superb.
Perfect! Sowmiya is an amazing tutor. We are so grateful to have you as our child teacher. Your hard work in supporting my daughter has mean a lot to our family.
