About Mariana
Something I have learned along my music career and education at university level is that a teacher can make all the difference! I have a very big passion for teaching and give my all to my students! I am so grateful to be able to pass my knowledge and my art onto others in hopes to inspire and teach them more about their instruments, as well as help them develop their artistic identity! Something that I find incredibly powerful about music is that you can often use it to express things that words can't, and being a teacher to me is helping students express those things in the best way they can! I am punctual and very dedicated, and I hope to see you at a lesson!

With 2 years of teaching experience, I find it crucial to nurture creativity and individuality in my lessons, since it is a powerful tool for motivation! I focus a portion of the lesson on creative exercises tailored to the student's goals and interests to develop their artistic identity, whether it be composition, improvisation or simply listening and training their ears! I also focus on developing good technical foundations and an understanding of music theory, providing worksheets and exercises to strengthen concepts such as rhythmic notation and harmony! I offer and give lessons to people of all ages and levels and tailor the material according to how each student learns!
