About Sylvia

Hi there! I was born and raised in China and moved to the US at 18. I graduated from Emory University and Columbia University, and now I work in finance on Wall Street.

I’m an outgoing person who loves connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. I enjoy making friends with colleagues from different countries and sharing my understanding of Asian culture. In today’s global decoupling environment, I believe these interactions are more valuable than ever.

Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I’ve trained over 200 students in finance over the past 8 years. The feedback from my students has been excellent, and I’ve had the pleasure of becoming friends with many of them.

I’m excited about the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with you, and I’m here to make your language learning journey enjoyable and enriching!
