Hi there! I am a 16 year-old high school student currently studying English literature in Year 11. I currently hold an A-range standard for this subject and would love to help tutor younger students.

About Imogen
Six months ago, I began helping out my younger students and family friends with their English homework. Soon, I discovered my love of teaching and tutoring.
While I am still 16 and studying in high-school, I believe my passion for literature, and my abilities and techniques observed and researched from my own previous years of tutoring will prove beneficial in this area of work.

Each tutoring student and lesson is tailored to the student's age, reading and writing abilities and overall objective of tutoring. For instance, if your child is 10 and struggling with reading, a lesson might consist of homework revision, grammatical revision, reading exercises and reading practise. Students are free to ask questions throughout the lesson!
These sessions are offered to students from years 1-8, over zoom classes online. Once inquiries have been made, a weekly/fortnightly time can be arranged. If there are any weeks where students cannot attend, please let me know 24-hours prior to the session and we can either skip that week or arrange for another time. If a cancellation does occur within that time frame, a cancellation fee of $20 will still occur.
Typically, tutoring sessions are 30-60 minutes. I find this way students are able to delve deeper into the subject material and get the most out of their tutoring sessions.
I charge $20 for 30min sessions, and $30 for 60min sessions.
