About Tayla
I hold a strong passion for learning and find purpose in sharing this passion through teaching. As an active learner, I design lessons flexibly according to what best suits the student. I have practical experience with all primary education stages, particularly grades one, five, and six. I currently work with children and have developed an understanding of how to build valuable rapport that improves student engagement, motivation, and learning.

I have a strong constructivist learning approach, meaning I intend to assist students in learning through conceptual, discovery-based, and contextually relevant activities. My lessons prioritise student engagement, motivation, and self-efficacy (students believing in themselves!), as learning is mostly a matter of interest and motivation more than intelligence.
Please note I am currently studying in the United Kingdom but I am willing to organise virtual lesson times suitable for both the student and myself.
